Yes, it was a crazy year. Zoom fatigue is real and we are all grateful for the break that two back-to-back long weekends provided (and hopefully the days in between). At Satuit, we miss the office kitchen, catching up on weekend activities, the smiles, the Friday games, and lunches. We miss the energy and the creativity and the sheer fun of being with great people. We miss seeing our valued clients. Relationships are important and video is a lousy substitute.
Covid did not stop our annual Toys for Tots fundraiser and shopping trip. Thanks to our volunteers, we were able to donate thousands of dollars in toys and cash donations to a cause we have supported on behalf of you, our valued clients, for 15 years. If there were ever a year where disadvantaged children need a gift, this would be that year.
During the pandemic, our software development team pushed out 4 releases and hundreds of new features (big and small). Many of these changes focus on user experience. We added shortcuts to reduce clicks and visual notifications to help make sure opportunities don’t fall through the cracks. We also made it easy to auto-dial or email from a list. We added new features for the user’s Home Page to make sure key information is available as soon as a user logs in and released new integration tools to streamline the integration of our software with other industry platforms. We look forward to sharing these changes with you in the New Year.
In 2020, we implemented a new self-service software platform to make it easy for users to find answers to any product questions. The Client Success team recorded hundreds of short training videos so that your user can watch on their time and get answers 24/7. The final phase (in January 2021) is the help widget, providing instant access to our Satuit Learning Center from any page on any Satuit product.
As we say goodbye and perhaps “Good Riddance” to 2020, we look forward to 2021 with optimism and a bit of trepidation. We wish you good health, continued success, a short wait for the vaccine, and a real vacation to somewhere wonderful.
